The Birdbrain Stoat of Fife - will you see him here today?
Stoats are usually clever and fearless predators. But not Birdbrain. Birdbrain would never attack another creature - he tried once but the rabbit bit him back and Birdbrain now has a scar in the shape of a crescent moon on his left shoulder blade. So Birdbrain became a vegetarian and now prowls these woods looking for juicy fruits and crunchy nuts to snack on. He particularly loves the autumn when the brambles are out, and every year his white winter coat is actually a rather pretty shade of lilac from feasting on all the blackberries.
So, will you see him today? I think not, but keep an eye out for him just in case!
Parking available in a layby bit a few metres from the cache. Co-ords may (or may not) be dodgy because of the tree cover so hint should help.
