This cache is located in Ramapo Valley County Reservation. The park
is only open during daylight hours.
The cache is a small, round lock and lock on the Halifax (Green)
trail.
On my way back from my end-to-end hike of the Halifax trail, I
found weathernowcast's map on the trail near this spot.
WARNING:
Wildlife: These parks are home to all sorts of
wildlife. I have run across black bear, snakes, deer, lots of TICKS
here (and more).
General: You are responsible for your own safety. Be
observant & cautious of all hazards at all times. Trails,
rocks, etc can be quite slippery when wet or leaf covered, carry a
trail map & cell phone, know how to use your gps, etc.
