How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden inside a one meter long tube but the challenge is in the retrieval. The cache may be a bit tricky on the high tide (you may end up with wet feet).
Specialised equipment is required for this cache (a large bucket). You have no need to swim out of your depth.

Being part of a rescue team in the local area this cache is not quite our normal type of casulty.
To perform a normal water rescue we normally require a least five team members with all the specialised equipment (not a bucket in sight). If you are quick enough you may commplete the rescue but it is easier as a team.
The cache is good for kids of all ages but please keep an eye on the smaller ones by the waters edge.
