Comme Geocacher, nous avons tous eu nos petits moments de gloire comme notre première cache trouvée, notre 100ième, 500ième etc, j'en connais qui ont célébré leur 10000ième.
Qu'en est-il des moments importants de Geocaching.com. Par exemple:
GCF la toute première cache a été placé par Dave Ulmer le 3 mai 2000 (voir la plaque et la vidéo),
CG41, rebaptisée plus tard GCBBA, la première cache placée au Canada (près d'Halifax).
GCBB a été le premier contenant placé au Québec (novembre 2000) et GC228 le premier en Ontario (février 2001)
La 500000ième cache a été publiée à la fin de 2006.
La 1000000ième cache fut placée le 17 septembre 2008 et je pourrais continuer.
Pour résoudre le puzzle Milestones, trouvez d'abord la Latitude de la 200000ième cache publiée par Geocaching.com puis déplacez-vous vers le Nord 12.7037 degrés. Vous avez maintenant la latitude de GC2VRCQ.
Pour la longitude de Milestones, trouvez d'abord la Longitude "affichée" de la 500000ième cache publiée par Geocaching.com.
Maintenant, déplacez-vous vers l'Ouest 80.823116 degrés.
Vous avez maintenant la longitude ET la solution de Milestones......

As geocachers, we all had our little moments of glory like when we found our first cache, our 100th, 500th, etc.,
I know some who celebrated their 10000th.
What about some important moments of Geocaching.com. For example:
GCF was the very first cache and it was placed by Dave Ulmer May 3 2000 (see plaque and video),
GC41, later renamed GCBBA, was the first cache placed in Canada (near Halifax).
GCBB was the first placed in Quebec (Nov 2000) and GC228 the first in Ontario Feb 2001)
The 500000th cache was released end of 2006,
The 1000000th cache was placed September 17th 2008, and I could go on.
To solve the puzzle Milestones, first find the latitude of the 200000th cache published by Geocaching.com.
Next,move North 12.7037 degrees; you now have the latitude of GC2VRCQ.
Then, for the longitude of Milestones, first find the the "published" longitude of the 500000th cache released by Geocaching.com.
Now, move West by 80.823116 degrees.
You now have the longitude AND the solution of GC2VRCQ.
