A beautiful spot in the Ya Ha Tinda that overlooks the Red Deer River. Placed by Scouts for Scouts and non-Scouts alike!
This cache will require a bit of a hike (4km), a small stream crossing and some off trail searching near the end. It is a great place for Scouts learning about Geocaching for the first time (as the Scouts that placed the cache were!), and it is a great excuse to get out and see the beautiful Ya Ha Tinda valley. As long as there isn't too much snow, try from late April to early November.
