Geocache Description:

Eastbridge church (Remains of)

All that remains of this church are the 12th and 13th century ruined west tower and slight relics of the nave walls above ground. The church was deserted in the 15th century.

EastBridge Village is now just a couple of houses and the remains of church but once a village with a population of 20+ and referenced in the Domesday book in 1087, it was again mentioned in Visitation Roll for Romney Marsh in 1292.

Thank's to Rosslessness for bringing this spot to my attention.

Other churches that fell into disrepair and lost in the area are:
Hope All Saints - in ruins by the 16th Century.
Midley Church - fell into decay in 1573
Broomhill - destroyed by the sea.

If you dont sign the log book dont log it online.
