Tento novogoticky objekt pochází zrejme z druhe tretiny 19. Stoleti, kdy bitovske panstvi vcetne Chvalatic vlastnil Jindrich hrabe Daun (1836 – 1890). Altan se nazyval Heinrichsruhe, tedy Jindrichovo odpocivadlo. Vetsi vnitrni prizemní mistnost byla omitnuta s patrne drevenym stropem. Ve druhem podlazi lze predpokladat otevrený zastreseny ochoz na ktery se vstupovalo vnejsim schodistem. Historicka funkce byla s nejvetsi pravdepodobnosti lovecka, slouzici bitovskym hradnim panum.
