Disputed Territory Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX

Geocache Description:

A fairly easy cache in an area known as Roundwood Park.

The second family cache...

Roundwood Park is an area of disputed territory, regularly fought over by the gangs of muggle children from Lupset and Ossett.

This cache is in a fairly obvious location to your average cacher, but it will probably need a little bit of stealth to ensure the dogwalkers and aformentioned children don't catch wind of what you're up to.

It's on a bit of an incline... It's got a nice firm concrete path suitable for bikes, etc. but it's the sort of location where you're happy to ride down, but the journey back up isn't nearly as appealing.

On-street parking at the top of the hill at Dacre Avenue, or you could park on Queens Drive if you're looking to snag any of the other local caches.
