This cache is part of the 2011 Wicomico Geocache Dash.
The Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to 22
sites located throughout Wicomico County.
The locations feature Wicomico's "Hidden Treasures" - parks, museums,
historical buildings, and waterways.
The Wicomico Geocache Dash is a Challenge trail and works
on a Passport system.
There are no alternate requirements to finding and logging this cache!
However, if you would like to complete the Challenge and be eligible for the
limited edition commemorative coin,
you must -
record the Code Word on your Passport, sign the logbook,
and take a picture of yourself with the container,
log your find online, and attach your picture to your log.

2011 Wicomico Geocache Dash
Leonard's Mill Pond is located in north central
Wicomico County near Salisbury, MD.
The pond had a mill but is now used for recreational purposes.
A visitor center, picnic area, boat ramp and parking lot
are located near the spillway.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR),
Fisheries Service, Freshwater Fisheries Division, manages the lake
to provide a public angling resource.
Leonard's Mill Pond is about 30 acres in size
and has a maximum depth of 8 feet.
Leonard's Mill Pond is a Trophy Bass Management Area.
The Pond boasts excellent fishing for smallmouth bass,
largemouth bass, and bluegill.
