Geocache Description:

BYOP, to this micro just on bike path. Keep head east toward Rd 68 for more caches and a total round trip of 4 Miles from GC2VTYX. Gloves may be nice, rolling path easy ride. Nice phone reception along path. Our containers are same design just different locations.

Some places scream for a cache and this one does also. I doubt I have ever seen this sign and in use, LOL.

Biking causes lots of injuries every year to little boys and girls but most affected are the boys. Did you know that 86% of the deaths among bicycle riders are for boys under 14 years old, most between 10 and 14! Helmets are huge in reducing this death and I think we get overconfident with our boys once they hit 11 or 12 years old and we expect they know better. That may explain the high death rate for boys.

Another thing to be cautious of is the top bar of bikes for boys it is estimated the top bar causes permanent damage to reproductive systems in 1% of male bike riders. This gets loss in helmet requirements and we tend to buy our boys and men bikes with that straight top bar. Over the years a small group of doctors and bikers have convinced the bike companies to slop the top bar down and it has help a little. In the end experts tracking these events wants boys bikes to look like girls bikes to reduce boy injuries. It is an old stigma started by commercialism and as you noticed more mindful higher end bike companies are getting the top bar down more and more. They have even brought the bar up on girl bikes to make bikes not look like a girl/boy style as in past. Don't worry it will not turn our boys to girls but it should save a bunch of unwanted hospital visits. Furthermore the reproductive loss issue seldom becomes a hospital issue it is just a traumatic event that sometimes damages cell growth, reducing chance of reproduction for the boys, a medical issue that can't be evaluated for years.

OH, Happy Biking on the Trail!!! LOL
