You are looking for a small box placed just off a footpath between Sevenmilestone and Goonbell
You are near the location of the underground bunker of the St. Agnes R.O.C. If you look over the brambles you will see a small gateway and the remains of a link fence. Under the undergrowth the bunker is still there.
Ross Luke,who died this spring, was the last surviving member of the Cornish wartime Royal Observer Corps he served in the St. Agnes post untill retirement in Dec1986. Over 39 yrs.The R.O.C. was stood down in 1991.This cache is dedicated to Ross and other member of the R.O.C. who unstintingly gave service to the country,to read of the disbandment in the press and to leave unthanked by the nation.
This is not a cache for shorts and flip flops.Gloves and long sleeves are orders of the day! you will probably get scratched!! You have been warned!!!
