A Kayak, Canoe or Pirogue will be required to safely find this cache.
There is a $1 park entrance fee. Park is open 7am To dusk, unless you are camping.
Since we only had two aquatic caches here in the park, we decided to add some more incentive to come on out to the park. A small paddle boat will be required to find this cache. You will have to be a good paddler and good at tight maneuvers with your boat to get to this cache.
The pilings that you will paddle though initially can be just under the surface and can tip a canoe or kayak and will downright deny a rowboat or motor boat. Then you have 24" spot to paddle through and turn around to get the cache. Never fear, if I could get my 14' Necky Dolphin in there and turned you can too.
You cannot find this cache by foot, don't try. As there are alligators and snakes possible, do not swim.
This is a tested waterproof container painted for camo and does not"disconnect" from the fixture it is on. Please re-tighten the cap tight so it can survive under water if necessary.
Chickasabogue park rents canoes and now kayaks for $5 an hour or $20 a day.
