Geocache Description:

Congratulations, you've reached the end of the Danekas Series! Please use this cache to post about your adventures doing this series (we'll keep a closer eye on these logs), and to trade fun swag too.

Happy Caching!

Cache is now hidden on private property with full permission of the owner. Spool on in for the find and maybe stop and say hi at the establishment.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU WATCH OUT FOR TRAFFIC WHILE EXITING AND RE-ENTERING THE ROAD.

The Danekas Series is Phase I of what we hope to be an extensive series of caches along the rural roads of Eastern Washington. This area is also known as the Channeled Scablands, formed thousands of years ago in the last ice age when the Lake Missoula Ice Dam broke and sent massive amounts of water scouring through the area. Now you too can scour through the area!

All the caches in this series are on the same side of the road (with the exception of a few bonus puzzle caches). These caches are meant to be easy and include a variety of sizes. There is never a need to go past any fences; all caches are in the public right-of-way along the county roads (with permission granted). Please re-hide the caches as you find them!

Some things to remember when doing this series:

• Start with low numbered caches & work towards higher numbered caches
• Make sure you have water.
• Most of the roads aren’t busy.
• Always be sure to park safely and COMPLETELY OFF of the paved road.
• We had good cell phone coverage; your results may vary…
• Make sure you have enough gas, although there is gas in Sprague, Tokio and Ritzville.
• Make sure you have a good spare tire and that is has air in it.
• In warmer weather be sure to watch for snakes and other wildlife.
• Keep Adams County clean: CITO!
• It can be windy out here, please secure each cache after signing the log.
• Most important of all --> Have fun! <--
