Geocache Description:

This cache is designed to help you learn more about Australian history and to test your research skills. It is based on information from the Australian Dictionary of Biography.


To find the cache, you will need to work out who the forgotten Australian is from the following clues.

1. The mascot for my brand is named after me (my nickname that is).

2. I was a tram conductor.

3. My brand is a household name.

4. I created the product in my bath tub.

5. I used to deliver it to country areas using a Tiger Moth and would drop samples of it on Sydney's beaches.

6. My business partner had a warehouse on Alice Street in Newtown.

7. I made the product at Paddington, but later moved the factory to West Ryde. It is now made in Melbourne.

8. I used my tram to sell door to door.

9. I bought a horse named Typhonic
