I performed a little cache maintenance yesterday or the day before and I decided to do a bunch more today. Intertwined with maintenance was supposed to be an event cache and a letterbox. Instead, I grabbed the event, the dratted Butterflies Rock letterbox, and and four traditional caches.

The temp started off about 28 F and raised to about 33 F, just as the snow started to come down. This is our first accumulation of the season.

The landscaping where the container used to be is long gone, along with the cache.

Geocache Description:

The new and improved fire station in Papillion.

When the cache was placed, this fire house was in the boonies. This should be a quick P&G, but feel free to stop and say hi to these guys and gals. They're so secluded, I'm sure that they'd enjoy your company.

Here's a duh note, but needed nonetheless - DON'T PARK IN FRONT OF THE TRUCKS or on the road! You have permission to park in the parking lot.

FYI, most of the firemen DO know about what everyone is doing in their yard. I've stopped to check on the cache and talked with some of them and gave them the 1 minute geocache indoctrination. One fireman asked if he tossed a cache into the woods, if we'd be able to find it wherever it landed! lol
