Starting from the trail head on Wallace Road, you will need to cross Tod Creek on a fallen log bridge at the following coordinates: N48 33.527 W123 27.609.
This cache was placed in the late spring when Tod Creek sounded like roaring rapids. At other times of year the creek will be slower and more silent. But, at any time it is breathtakingly beautiful as it is makes its way to Saanich Inlet from Prospect Lake through this old forest. This is the start of a network of trails that lead eventually to Durrance Lake and beyond.
