This cache will bring you to Baxter's Wetlands Bird hide. It is part of Wonthaggi State Coal Mine Historical and Cultural Feature Reserve. This is a pretty area with lots of birds to watch in the hut provided.

The walking track is pretty well maintained, if you are lucky you will see some of the area's wildlife. In the warmer times please keep an eye out for snakes. Have a wonder around and take in beauty of the wetlands.
