The cache is in the heart of downtown Ironwood. The building was built in 1957 as an ice cream shop and dairy store. In 1976 Ben and Jeanne Walston purchased it and have become the longest single owners of any restaurant in Gogebic County. Most of the interior of the building is original, including the stainless steel ice cream freezers and lunch counter! You can still get old fashioned ice cream sundaes and phosphates.
The cache is a quick grab and go ammo box. You do not have to go into the shop to get the cache. Also, the owners and most of the customers know about the cache, so if someone is standing outside, you should still be safe grabbing it with out worries.
