Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Bay Head Park with permission. There are athletic fields, a covered picnic area and playground. There is not an entry fee, but the gate does close at dusk.

Also on site is Children's Theatre of Annapolis which is a great theatre. My kids and I have loved all of their performances. I am not affiliated with the theatre. I do recommend that if you're local that you return with tickets to a performance. The theatre's website: (visit link)

Historically, this site is a former missile base during the Cold War. The buildings are refurbished originals. More information on its history can be found here: (visit link)

There are different times when the muggle activity will be high. Be careful if you come during a performance time or when there is a sporting event nearby. The muggles will likely be very curious kids.

Enjoy the area.

Contents include a log and room for small items. BYOP - ours keeps getting taken.

Access from 50: the park is located between exits 29 and 32. If you're traveling east bound then I recommend using exit 29. If you're traveling west then I recommend using exit 32. There is an access road that runs parallel to 50 west. You can take either exit 29 or 32 to get to the cache and then stay on the access road in the direction you're traveling and get back on to 50, so you don't have to back track at all. The cache is approx. 1.5 miles from both exits, but again should be in the direction you're traveling.

FTF congratulations goes to MarylandRamblers.
