Thought a Gnome needed to watch over Bata Island and take up residence in our neck of the woods.
This is one of 3 caches now located on Bata Island.

CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES
PLEASE NOTE : The park is closed from 11pm to 5am.
The posted coordinates are for the first glow tack on the island.
Please note: The ORANGE glow dots that are on the bridge railing are NOT part of the trail, but are simply there to give you an idea what you will be looking for once on the island.
Night find details

Once parked cross the bridge (there are orange glow dots on the bridge).
Once over the bridge use the following legend to find the cache.
BLUE GLOW TACK - Always turn right at the next trail intersection.
WHITE GLOW TACK - Keep on trail and keep looking ahead for the next tack.
ORANGE GLOW TACK - Always turn left at the next trail intersection.
Please note that sometimes there was no place to put a tack right at a trail intersection so sometimes the tack is close to the intended intersection. Always remember that the tacks will have you turn onto a trail and not into the woods etc..
When you find both a white and a blue tack together you will be close. Then carefully shine your light around to find 2 orange tacks nearby. The cache will be there.
Please note : at some point you may come to a tree with 2 blue glow dots. This is where the stand alone letterbox is planted (in stump). You can visit the letterbox (but can't log it here) if you wish or simply continue past this tree to find your way to the cache.
