Hog farming is a vital part of Dekalb county's economy. With more
than 203,000 head of hog(by comparison, 107,333 people - as of
2009)it is the #1 county in Illinois in pork production. With so
many pigs to track, an identification system is used throughout the
industry to identify each pig by litter number and an individual
number. This system will be applied here to identify the location
