Geocache Description:


** 1/24 Update: The area in which this cache is placed used to be called Blue Ridge Center but as of May 26, 2023, it is now Sweet Run State Park! As such, the links and text below have been updated accordingly. **

Here's a quick traditional to find on yet another one of the trails at Sweet Run State Park. Sweet Run has close to 10 miles of trails through almost 900 acres of woods, farmland and meadows. The trails are open every day from dawn until dusk, and visitors are welcome to come and explore.



For this cache, if you're hiking the Farmstead Loop, you'll want to head to the spot where Piney Run Spur branches off. Follow Piney Run Spur a short ways and you'll soon come up this spot. The cache you seek is a micro concealed in a slightly larger host.

Update 2023: The old owl has flown his nest and the nest that once was, has collapsed. That means he’s no longer hanging out and watching you as the hint once suggested. Now there is a small lock-n-lock concealed at ground level nearby.
