Geocache Description:

Short Span, Stillwell is the name.

Cache on the Trask River, just up from Hospital hole.

Span named for Sheriff Thomas J. Stillwell. Stillwell moved to Oregon in 1844. He came to Tillamook in 1860 and purchased the donation land claim of Edrick Thomas, which is where the City of Tillamook now is located. Stillwell was a member of the Oregon Legislature from Tillamook in 1892.

Not safe for young kids or pets because of the busy highway traffic.
