5/18/11 -This cache will remain here now that our CITO event is over for everyone to enjoy. This cache is being placed as part of a series of ten caches for the Waterbury, CT Earthday Cleanup CITO event on 5/14/11. This cache was put together and placed by a group of teenagers in an afterschool program at Waterbury Youth Services. We hope that anyone that visits this cache will please CITO this Park to help keep it clean. Thanks!
This cache is located in Sloping Acres Park in Waterbury, CT. This is a small park with a basketball court, playscape, soccer field and a grass tball field. The Park is located at 168 Bagley Terrace and parking can found at that location. The terrain is marked higher because the park has poor drainage and remains wet longer that other parks after rain. The park is open to the public. The parks in Waterbury close after dark so this cache is not available at night. Please help us keep our parks clean.
