Geocache Description:

Stealth recommended. Bring your own pen. In a small grove of trees. Looking for a camo container slightly larger than a film canister. You may need to park off campus to avoid parking enforcement. Not recommended at night since campus police may be suspicious then.

The cache is a short walk onto UNL East Campus. Recommended times to cache are during the day to avoid the attention of campus police. Parking should be easy+free in NET's parking lot to the north off 33rd street after 5 pm or on weekends. The camo small container is slightly larger than a 35mm film canister, but bring your own pen.

To the north you'll see the NET building, a large four story brick building with several antennas on top. Here is Nebraska's largest non-profit public television and broadcasting station, and one of the largest in the country.

In public broadcasting circles the station is known as "The House that Jack Built". Jack G. McBride served as general manager and secretary from 1963 to his retirement in 1996, and served as an adviser till his passing in 2008. During this time the education oriented agency grew to serve the entire State of Nebraska and continues to do so.
