Geocache Description:

A Peaceful Park in SOMA

San Francisco's SOMA (South Of Market Area) doesn't have a lot of green spaces, so this recently constructed park was a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

There are areas for children to play (adults must be accompanied by an child in those fenced-off areas, but it is not necessary to enter those areas to grab the cache), picnic benches, a basketball court and a baseball diamond. There are also drinking fountains and restrooms.

This lovely little park is named after and dedicated to the first woman to win springboard and platform gold medals in the same Olympics in 1948, Victoria Manalo Draves.

I believe the park is closed from sunset to sunrise. Cache is a black magnetic nano, and in the new location is not wheelchair accessible.
