This is a tribute to my first cache called "Leave it to Beaver" GC4650. Times were a lot different back then. It was placed before any of the bike trails in this area existed and almost all caches tended to be ammo boxes. Check it out to see pictures of some of the original cachers in the area. If you recognize anybody in those pics let me know so I can update the label. Unfortunately that cache disappeared long ago. This cache is actually quite the opposite. It is right off a bike trail and it is a micro (not a nano). I'm sure this cache would have baffled many a cacher when I first started but today it is quite a common type of hide. The only similarity to my original is the proximity to beaver activity. I haven't spotted the local yet and I'm not sure if it will be hanging around much longer since his/her pond is drying up fast. However you will find lots of beaver sign around here.
