This is another in a short series that is based around the Blackrock Heritage Trail. The trail has a bonus so keep a note of the "letter=number" that is in the log book.
The cache itself is a micro container, camo'd to match it's surroundings. A small level of agility is required to access it.
Parking is available for a few cars on the side of the road near the cache.
The cache is little more than a cache & dash. The road is busy so be careful exiting your vehicle. There are houses opposite the cache site so be aware of muggles.
You need to do a little scrambling to reach the cache. If you slip you may get wet.
The Carrig Cultra area has also been designated as a Special Protection Area and A Special Area of Conservation at National and European level. Home to a wide range of Flora and Fauna there is no need to intrude on the area to do the cache.
