This cache is located on our favorite beach on Vieques Island! My wife and I love Vieques - We have been coming here for over 20 years and love everything that this small island has to offer. We recently got into geocaching and were surprised to find only one cache on Vieques (Bunker Cache - great cache by the way!!). We have family here and wanted to add some more great hides.
Navio beach is off the beaten path but is definitely our favorite on Vieques. There is a white sandy beach with clear blue water, great surf, snorkling and a cool cave to explore. We gave this terrain a 3, not because the cache is hard to obtain but because getting to Navio beach can be tricky. There is a "road" to the beach but it is very poorly maintained with a lot of grade 5 potholes. Bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle only for this find.
