"The mill ponds consists of two ponds, one upper and the other lower. The sites are named for a grist mill that used to exist on the site, which stood between the upper and lower mill ponds. Powered by the flow of the water from the brook connected to them, the mill was used to grind up local grains grown on the farm into flour, used to bake bread and other baked goods." - description taken from another of the farm's great historical information signs. Take the snake alley trail to the red trail for a quick walk. FTF prize is five dollar bill.
