To uphold a grand geocaching tradition
of hiding a silver ammo can in recognition of finding your 1000th
cache, Rustynails and all his fellow cachers acknowledge team
Piker's great achievement with the placement of this cache.
Team Piker AKA Bob Piker and his
wife started geocaching only nine months ago. They have now over
1000 finds
I first met team Piker
when they ask for my help on a multi-cache last year. We have since
cached together and teamed up on one of their 4 way flasher series
hide. They have showed me much kindness and I'm proud to call them
my friends.
Bob ask me include the following in the long description of the
cache.
This ammo can was given to Bob (piker) by his daughter and
family (NVTaps) for his 76th birthday. It was the last stage of a 5
stage multi that they hid on his son’s (NVgoldfish) property
in Nevada. It was stocked with swag that reminds his two youngest
grandkids of him.
1. A Bible that reminds them of his belief in Jesus as his
Savior.
2. A candle that reminds them he trys to let His light shine
through him.
3. A tape measure for all the Habitat for Humanity and Urban
Homeworks projects he has worked on.
4. A pin with Bloomington on it for where he lives.
5. A pin with Buck Hill on it for where he skis and races.
6. A pin with an apple on it because he was a teacher.
7. A Mt. Dew can cooler for his favorite drink.
8. A Sudoku puzzle book for the puzzles he loves to solve.
9. A deck of cards for the games he loves to play.
10. A book clip flashlight for all the reading he does. Now the
ammo can is hidden for you to find.
