About the film:
With the film INVICTUS , made in 2009, we have a story that seems to have been written by a team of Hollywood writers and yet the story is amazingly true. Real life leader Nelson Mandela, in his first term as the South African President, discovers a unique approach to unite the apartheid-torn land: enlist the national rugby team on a mission to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Great acting from the always excellent Morgan Freeman and a wonderful part for Matt Damon. Then to top it off- the film was directed by movie legend Clint Eastwood!
