About the film:
In THE ACCIDENTAL TOURIST, made in 1988, Macon Leary, a travel writer,(played by William Hurt) seems to be sleep walking through life since the death of his son. Macon's wife (Kathleen Turner), seems to be having trouble too, and thinks it would be best if the two would just split up. After the break up, Macon meets a strange outgoing woman (played with passion by Geena Davis), who seems to bring him back down to earth. After starting a relationship with the outgoing woman, Macon's wife seems to think that their marriage is still worth a try. Macon is then forced to deal with making decisions that he had been avoiding for a long time. The film was directed by Lawrence Kasdan who also wrote and directed the film “Body Heat” starring the two leads of this movie.
About the cache:
There was once at this location, a huge tourist center where when you get off or onto the Turnpike, you could stop in and find out about all the great (and cheesy) tourist attractions in our great state and maybe even get a deal on some cheap tickets. Well, it’s all closed up now so there’s not much to do at Yeehaw Junction anymore. Except for this cache! You’re looking for a nice, shiny bison tube- not too hard to spot in the bright light of day.
