Achtung: wie die 7. Ausgabe im "Hirschgarten", außerdem an einem Donnerstag!
Geocaching ist hier allen bekannt, Bookcrossing eventuell nicht. Letzteres ist ein kostenloser, weltweiter Büchertauschring. Bücher als Reisende werden ausgesetzt, gefunden, geloggt, gelesen, wieder ausgesetzt - wie Geocoins und TBs, nur ganz ohne kommerziellen Hintergrund. Mehr darüber findet ihr auf
Bookcrossing.com. Um dem Interesse an beiden Hobbies gerecht zu werden gibt es in Bad Homburg einen regelmäßigen gemeinsamen Stammtisch, auf den sowohl Geocacher als auch Bookcrosser eingeladen sind. Wer das jeweils andere Hobby noch nicht kennengelernt hat, hat so die Gelegenheit, das nachzuholen. Wer schon aktiv dabei ist kann zwei Hobbies mit einem Event abdecken!
Treffpunkt ist am

18:30 am
gastronomischen Betrieb an den Listingkoordinaten. Dort gibt es zu günstigen Preisen gutes Essen und Getränke. Bei Speis und Trank lässt es sich hervorragend über die große weite Welt der Bücher und Geocaches unterhalten. Selbstverständlich muss es nicht beim Gespräch bleiben, es dürfen auch nach Herzenslust Bücher getauscht werden! Parkplätze und Fahrradständer sind in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Die Anreise mit ÖPNV ist möglich, die Abreise leider schwieriger (man müsste bis zum Gotischen Haus laufen, von dort aus fährt auch später der Bus). Wenn ihr das Restaurant betreten habt fragt nach dem Nebenraum (gleich links), dort sind wir unter uns und haben jetzt sogar Platz für ca. 32 Personen (andere Tischaufstellung). Bei gutem (warmem!) Wetter könnte es möglich sein, draußen zu sitzen. Das Logbuch liegt bis mindestens 22:00 aus.

Attention: again at the "Hirschgarten", also this time on a Thursday!
If you found your way here, you know geocaching, but maybe not bookcrossing. The latter is a worldwide community made for swapping books, and it's completely free! Books as travelers are left in the wild or in so-called "book crossing zones", discovered, logged, read and again released - similar to geocoins and TBs, just without the commercial background. Bookcrossing.com. This regular joint event in Bad Homburg is meant to satisfy the interest in both hobbies. Both geocachers and bookcrossers are cordially invited. If you don't know the other hobby yet, this is your chance! If you're already an active geocacher and bookcrosser, you can enjoy both hobbies at one single event.
The meeting point is on
Thursday, September 27th, 2012 at
18:30 at the
restaurant near the listing coordinates. With good food and drinks, we have the opportunity to talk about the great wide world of books and geocaching. Aside from talking, everyone is invited to swap books as well! There is plenty of parking space, getting there is possible with mass-transit, but unfortunately not getting back. On location, ask for the separate room (to the left of the main entrance), there we have room for 32 people. If the weather is good (warm) we micht also have the chance to sit outdoors. The logbook will be present until at least 22:00.
