Do NOT enter the cemetery. It would best to find
this cache only when the sun is up out of respect to nearby
neighbors.
This is one of many cemeteries in and around Selma where early
settlers of the area have been buried. The land where this cemetery
is located was owned by Gustav Engelmann. He moved to the area in
the 1860's. Deeds in the Bexar County Courthouse show transactions
between Engelmann and other early German settlers.
