Springside Nature Reserve waits to surprise
lovers of the great outdoors with an unexpected quilt of stream-fed
wetlands, coastal forest and grasslands in the very heart of
suburban Hillcrest.
Stream close to the
cache
The reserve is a favourite for school projects, and offers a
lecture hall ideal for assimilating the sights and sounds gathered
along its two hiking trails.
If you are very quiet, you should come across a few shy buck.
Purple crested turacos can often be heard calling in the treetops
close to the cache.
The cache is located at a great shady spot to just kick back and
relax, perhaps with a book.
