Debi’s Tropical Paradise Cache
Location: Kamokila Hawaiian Village
Kauai is so special to me. I live in Colorado now (for many
years), but began my history with Kauai in the mid-1980’s
while living in Alaska. Hawaii was a wonderful vacation spot to
escape the mild to cold temperatures. I was married here,
introduced my son to this wonderful island and have spent time with
great friends here. I now am celebrating my 60th birthday with a
month (May 2011) in Koloa surrounded by family and great friends.
An interest I share with my best friend is geocaching. He
introduced this fun past time to me and I felt it was a wonderful
thing to do in conjunction with my birthday; create a cache on
Kauai. So—seek, find and enjoy. I have enclosed some Colorado
bookmarks, party favors, geocache ‘treasures’, and
Hawaiian shell necklaces. Check out the Traditional Hawaiian
Village while you are here, go on an outrigger canoe tour, or rent
a kayak and check out the Wailua River on your own.
Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local
cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with
geocaching.com.
