I Hidden Cache "Mishuku Shrine".
私は三宿神社にcacheを隠しました。
In this vicinity, there was a pond that was called "Snake pond" and "Dragon pond" until the end of shogunate, and the bog complex was formed from the vicinity of the confluence point of kitazawagawa and the Karasuyamagawa to the vicinity of Megurogawa oohashi.
There was a village where the name of "Ikejiri-son", "Ikezawa-son", and the pond was given in the vicinity.
There is a low ground part like the pond in Ikejiri and three Shukuba of No.246 in the national road (Tamagawa street) north side in geographical features now.
It looks from there is "Ikenoue" in the north of the low ground part and it is possible to know.
It is said that it changes from "Mishuku(mizuyado)" and attached what on ground of the stay of water and it became "Mishuku".
この神社は、多聞小学校の南100m程の辺り、三宿さくら幼稚園の西隣に鎮座しております。
この近辺には、幕末の頃まで｢蛇池｣とも｢龍池｣とも呼ばれていた池があり(北沢川と烏山川の合流点付近から目黒川大橋付近まで沼沢地帯を形成していた。近辺には｢池尻村｣｢池沢村｣と池の名がつく村があったこと、現在も、国道246号(玉川通り)北側の池尻・三宿には地形的に池のような低地部があること、その低地部の北に｢池ノ上｣があることからも窺い知ることができる。)、水の宿る地ということで｢水宿｣とついたものから転じて｢三宿｣となったものといわれる。
