Lytes Cary Loop 5. Lytes Cary Manor (National Trust) has 3 marked walks on the estate. This loop takes in the estate walk (red) and the river walk (yellow). It is approximately 3 miles long and the terrain is easy. Cache placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
Following the yellow route takes you across the river Cary. Watch out for Kingfishers which are occasionally seen. Otters have also been reported. The whole area supports deer which are often spotted in the fields. Look for orchids on the path edges.
