Geocache Description:


There used to be a cache in this park and it was the very first one we found,but it came up missing and wasn't replaced. When Pap asked if we wanted to put a cache here we said sure but lets make it a kids cache. This park is really neat with a slide and swings. There is also a basketball court and a great hill for sledridding. There is parking at the end of Santa Fe Dr. for three cars, one handicapped and two regular. you can also access the park from the T parking lot at Washington Junction, but this is usually full during working hours.If you park at Santa Fa Dr. the terrain is about one and one half stars. If you approach from Washington Junction there is a hill with a paved walkway and about two and a half stars. Either way there is no need to bushwhack, follow the trail. Children 4 or older should not have a problem either way.
There are some homes around the perimeter of the park so the cache is available only during daylight hours.
There is a FTF prize and also prizes for the first girl and boy 10 or younger to find this cache.
