Stegen i denna mystery tar dig vidare till nästa punkt, utom det första som är ett smakprov på terrängen och har som enda syfte att få dig att fundera om du verkligen skall fortsätta med risk att träffa på ett troll - eller istället logga en mikrocache i en trafikskylt...
Trollberget - ja det heter faktiskt så på kartan. I denna terräng har jag strövat många timmar, mött älgar öga mot öga, plockat kantareller och faktiskt även hittat en tappad ficklampa av hög kvalitet. Hela området har fått utstå en svårartad gallring vilket gör att terrängen är bättre framkomlig på senare tid. Men underskatta inte sankmarker och trista kalhyggen! Men framför allt akta dig för trollen, särskilt vid finalen!
Delstegens gömmor är av skiftande svårighetsgrad, under vintern kan några vara oåtkomliga eller fastfrusna.
Uppdatering november 2016: Ett av delstegen fanns i närheten av det västliga stagfästet till den 332 meter höga Häglaredsmasten. Någon har dock skruvat loss det stora antal muttrar som håller stålvajrarna som stagar masten söndagskvällen 15:e maj 2016 och närmare 200 meter drattade i backen. Delsteget är borta - vår Poliskår har minsann sökt igenom terrängen noga - och med största sannolikhet kommer det att stängslas här. Larmat lär det redan vara. Efter långt övervägande har nya koordinater för några delsteg tagits ut och Trollberget kan åter loggas med bibehållen rating, fast det är aningen kortare att gå nu.

Some of you might say this mystery is what we in Sweden say "rena snurren" - good - then you will solve this easily.
The stages in this Mystery takes you further to next stage except for the first stage. This stage is an introduction to what you might meet further on. Here is the the point where you should ask yourself the question "Why do I do this when I rather could log a film cannister behind a traffic sign???"
Trollberget - "the Troll mountain" - yes - the name on the general map tells that this is the name. In this area I have been walking in all seasons, I have met elks face to face, I have picked mushrooms (Cantharellus) and berries and even found an almost brand new high quality pocket torch.
Recently there has been a thorough clean up and all shrubberies have been cut away. This makes the terrain open and easy accessable, but do not underestimate the soggy swamps nor the clean cut areas!
But most of all - be aware of the trolls - especially at the final!
The various stages' hides can be easy or hard to find. During winter snow can reduce access to some hides as well as some hides might be stuck by freezing.
Update November 2016: On Sunday May 15 someone has unscrewed the hughe number of very large nuts holding some of the stay wires for the 332 meter high Radio, TV and communication tower. About 200 meter of the tower fell eastwards due to this. One of the cache stages was hidden quite near the west anchor. The container is no longer in place - the Police has really searched the surroundings well. However the container and its hint did not help to find the sabotage persons. Some new positions among the stages and the old remaining ones have got coordinates corrected and/or checked.
The rating will remain but now there are some hundreds meters shorter to walk.
