The Friends of
the Hurtwood have kindly granted us permission to place some
caches in The Hurtwood.
This is a short series of 1.5 miles aimed at families who, like
us, like finding short routes they can drag the children round
without having to go for miles and miles.
The keener cacher can pick them off quickly either on their own
or with our 5 mile Hurtwood
Series which is nearby; a short divertion from no3 or no5 will
link you to that series or you can drive to car park 13. (Premium
Members may wish to visit another of my caches which is
close by; please note the equipment need)
The walk does have a couple of short hills and is mainly good
paths; we have managed the walk twice with an all terrain pushchair
although in a couple of spots it was a little challenging!
There is plenty of parking available in both Hurtwood car park 6
where the walk starts (if you are going round in order) but there
is also ample parking in car park 5 if you want to pick up the
route part way round. A map showing the car parks can be found

This route has a variety of caches which we hope you and your
children will find find fun. Most caches are suitable for small
trades and TBs.
The series contains a very simple puzzle and offset multi cache;
these can be done with very little additional preparation. You will
need the answers to the puzzle to gain access to that particular
cache.
