Geocache Description:

Micro camo container, just off a side trail, a very short walk from Thomson Drive entrance to Ruskin S. Freer nature preserve. If you go anywhere not basically flat, you're looking in the wrong area. Bring your own pen.

The turn to this location is marked by a plaque at the side of the main gravel trail. Some might suspect there is a shortcut down to the trail below. There isn't, or there is but it's far too steep for me.

The plaque says:

"Ruskin S. Freer Nature Preserve - As a teacher, writer, naturalist, scientist, and citizen he has enhanced the quality of our lives."

If you go anywhere not basically flat, you're looking in the wrong area. Take care with small children near the edge of the nearby steep drop.
