Clinton Park Redux Traditional Cache

This cache is located in General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, the finish line for the Clinton Canoe Regatta held each Memorial Day. We were perplexed to find not a single Geocache had been placed in this spectacular setting. Come for the cache and stay for a while. Better yet, add a cache of your own--it's a big park with lots of room!

This cache replaces our first Clinton Park cache, which was washed away by the river (along with most of its hiding place). There was no hiding spot close enough to fit the guidelines for cache relocation (<0.1 mi), so we've archived the old cache and are starting over. This is probably just as well, as cachers who've logged the original can return to this great park to log the new edition! The new cache is of a new design, which we hope will last in this flood-prone location (though of course, we thought that about the first cache as well!) It's also a bit bigger, and suitable for small trades. We've given this a 2.5 terrain because the final approach to the cache is slippery and muddy.
