Geocache Description:

This is a place we allways went to on Saturdays to do roller skating back in the 1950's. In the earlier days it was an Ice Skate Arena. My Brother and Father would go and skate in the evenings and thats when he got his little finger cut and then sewn back on.

The place was made out of bricks and we hauled off a bunch to make a patio out of them in the 1960's. I know that the place is gone and these appartments have taken up residence here. Placing a cache here is a little dificult because most of the cachers do not know about the history of the place. Across the street the church look a little run down but it was a beautiful place in the 40's,50's,and 60's when it was a Southern Baptist Church. The thing I want you to see is the problem of the addressess of the west side of the street Hydraulic is in the 700's and the east side is in the 800's. I would have liked to name the cache something else Like Which block am I on 754 or 888.
