Prairie Creek Park needed another cache. This is a micro cache to replace the Prairie Creek Nano cache. It is a small camo container. It will be easy for some and harder for others. *** The cache container is now a special bison tube cache. And replace the container where you found it. This is a very popular location in the spring and summer. Includes boating, fishing, swimming, picnics, camping and hiking. Winter time is great for watching wildlife and walking along the beach and on the closed roads. Deer, Canadian Geese and sometimes eagles. I received approval from the ranger who stated that caching is allowed, but don't bother the campers. And there is a day use fee in all Corp of Engineer parks. However, in the winter, there is usually no charge. If you come very early or late it is ok, and you might not have to pay, but a visit to the park is worth the token fee. If you have a yearly pass, it is good at all Corp parks in Arkansas. There are 2 other caches in the area; Gateway to Beaver Lake - Prairie Creek and Prairie Creek Vista.
