Located near Leavenworth Washington near the mouth of the Icicle River on East Leavenworth Road.
Elevation: 1106
The run of the river rests on a high water channel of the Icicle River — about a half-mile upriver from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA. They are surrounded on two sides by Washington Department of Wildlife bird refuge, home to deer, coyote, and the occasional bear and elk. It's a birder's paradise, where you can spy great blue herons, osprey, owls, kingfishers, geese and a variety of ducks.
This cache is in honor of the 25th anniversary of the bed and breakfast and is hidden with the owners permission, we only ask that you respect the privacy of the guests and be gentle with this cache. There is parking nearby or out front of the property.
I would also like to mention that this cache is an inspiration of Mr. Gadget. Though not as evil (mainly because I don't possess the intellectual or cunningness that oozes out of his mind), the thought process to come up with more than just a simple hide and seek, and to place it in plain sight for all to see to me is the ultimate geocache hide. These type take many hours of patience and planning. Many in this area are aware of Mr Gadgets hides, those that are new to the game or visitors from outside the area I highly recommend looking up and seeking out his caches, they are truly an art. He is Michelangelo \ Leonardo da Vinci \ Dr Evil of the geocaching world.
