Geocache Description:

The Sound of Music

This cache was placed near the Adamson estate where the Royal Conservatory of Music has its Mississauga offices. It is an idyllic spot, not just for the beauty and history of the grounds and the fantastic lakefront vistas, but also because the sound of music drifts down from the practice rooms of the grand old house. Stroll by and listen – there are often lessons or exams going on. As well, it’s worth a visit to the small pet cemetery on the grounds.

(Written by lowdowntime, not thewhytes) This is the third cache in our series of 2011 birthdays – this one in honour of our son Peter who now leaves his teenage years behind. Musically inclined, Peter begged us for piano lessons at age 3, and we didn’t even own a piano! A graduate of the music program at Cawthra Park SS and currently at university majoring in music and education, Peter is training to become a high school music teacher. He succeeded at many a Conservatory piano exam played at this location.

The cache is a small lock-n-lock suitable for small trade items. Initial contents are “musically” themed: some “ipod” erasers and some noisy animal key chains (be sure to pull the battery tabs).

A busy location at times, stealth may be required, especially when muggle wedding photos are being taken. The Waterfront Trail is also nearby.

Congrats to FredPhil96 on FTF!!
