There has been a scout hut near gz >40 years.
Cache is at height to allow wheelchair access although help to open may be needed. Nettles / mud may be a hindrance!
Night caching not advised as it may concern neighbours.
Please DO NOT enter the gate, and avoid when the hut is obviously in use (usually weekday evenings) as it may cause understandable concern.
Park on the main road, not in the lane.

Scouting was established in 1907 by Lord Baden Powell. In 1909 the Boy Scouts held their first ever rally at Crystal Palace, London. 11,000 Boy Scouts were there plus a handful of brave girls who gatecrashed calling themselves ‘Girl Scouts’. Back in 1909 women could not vote, did not wear trousers, and it would have been considered very unfeminine to follow Scouting activities. These were brave girls! When Baden Powell asked what they were doing there they asked for “something for the girls”.
Baden Powell was ahead of his time and realised the potential of girls. By 1909 he and his sister Agnes established the Girl Guides. Later when asked who started the Guides, he said “They started themselves”.
Now, Girlguiding UK is the United Kingdom's largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women, with around half a million members including about 100,000 trained volunteer adult Leaders and supporters. The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world, with ten million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from 145 countries.
