Another wonderful truss bridge on a quiet back road.
I had misplaced my Fleet card and arrived at the toll gate from Ladysmith to Harrismith with not enough on me to get through the toll. So an alternate route was to be taken. A little longer but a lot more scenic and with a wonderful mission and a truss bridge to cross. Note this can be done in a normal sedan but would not recommend it if the road is wet. A few drifts will most likely cut your journey short. If you come from the Ladysmith side you will still be fine. The road will take you to the Sandspruit Biltong shop and pass Biltong bridge cache and you can do my Giant Coke bottle cache too.
Pleaswe note that this is not going to save you a toll fee unless you go via Ladysmith.
